๐Ÿ’ก Frequently asked questions

I bought the Full Pack but it didn't unlock.

Open Little Lines, go to Settings โ†’ Restore Purchases. This asks the App Store to re-deliver your purchase. If you're signed into the Apple ID that made the purchase (or the one that shares via Family Sharing), it will unlock within a few seconds.

Does my purchase work on my kid's iPad too?

Yes. The Full Pack is a Family Sharing purchase. Anyone in your Apple Family Sharing group can install Little Lines and tap Restore Purchases in Settings to unlock everything, at no extra cost.

How do I switch to Adults Mode?

Triple-tap the Little Lines title on the topic selection screen. The first time you switch, you'll be asked to set a parental PIN. On return visits, we'll ask for that PIN before showing adult topics.

I forgot my parental PIN.

For security the PIN is stored in your iOS Keychain and we cannot recover it for you. To reset: delete the app and reinstall. This will clear local progress, so if that matters, email us first and we can walk you through options.

How do I reset progress or start over?

Open the Stats screen in the app. At the bottom you'll find a reset option that clears local progress without deleting the app or affecting your Full Pack unlock.

Can I turn off Read Words Aloud?

Yes. Go to Settings and toggle Read Words Aloud off. You can also change the voice and reading speed from the same screen.

Are there ads?

No. Little Lines has no ads and will never have ads.

Is my child's data collected?

No personally identifiable information is collected. Names, progress, and preferences stay on the device. See our Privacy Policy for full detail.

๐Ÿ› ๏ธ Troubleshooting

The app won't open, or it crashes on launch.

  1. Force-quit the app (swipe up in the app switcher) and reopen.
  2. Restart your iPhone or iPad.
  3. Check for an update in the App Store.
  4. If that doesn't fix it, email us with your device model and iOS version and we'll dig in.

A word on the list looks correct but won't register.

In Correct Direction mode, words must be swiped from the first letter to the last. If you've swiped in reverse, try again starting from the opposite end. You can turn this setting off in Settings if your child isn't ready for it yet.

Sound isn't working.

Check that your device isn't in silent mode, then open Little Lines Settings and make sure the speaker icon is enabled. Read Words Aloud uses the system voice and will pause if another app is playing audio.

๐Ÿ’Œ Ideas and feedback
